# Authentication foundations and performance

Auth state has clearer ownership on web and mobile, with production build checks.

The auth foundation consolidates Session outcomes and account-security behavior. Web and native hooks take responsibility for orchestration, making screens easier to follow and reducing duplicated lifecycle logic.

Performance work improves the web and mobile paths, adopts React Compiler where supported and replaces avoidable lazy module loading. A Worker server-function manifest regression gains a production build guard. Database suites are serialized where they share state.
